Yuluma Primary School has a YouthCARE Chaplain who works 2 days a week at the school. Chaplaincy is funded at a state and Federal level, and YouthCARE are the providers of the Chaplaincy program. Yuluma Primary School has had a Chaplain since 2002.
The Chaplaincy program primarily offers pastoral care to the students, parents, staff and the wider school community to address social and emotional well being. The Chaplain contributes to the general day to day running of the school in a support role as required. There are a number of programs that have been run through the Chaplain at the school. These are offered on a as needs basis.
