Chaplain

Yuluma Primary School has a YouthCare Chaplain who is supported by a local YouthCare Church Council to work at the school three days a week. Chaplaincy offers pastoral care support to the school community as an integral part of the day to day running of the school. As well as providing one-on one support, there are a number of programs that are currently being run through the Chaplain at the school, including Breakfast Club and Playgroup.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club
Runs every Monday to Friday between 8.00 am to 8.30am during school term. Breakfast Club is a place where children can come and enjoy a healthy breakfast before school and enjoy a warm family type atmosphere and social interaction with their school friends. There is no cost to children or parents, or restriction on who may attend. All students who have not had breakfast are welcome to attend. Breakfast is supplied by FoodBank and the kind donations of parents and local churches.

Playgroup

Playgroup is a great way of helping children and parents to prepare for the future and assist relationship building with other children, parents and staff at the school. Playgroup for (Pre-Kindergarten aged children) will be continuing on Friday mornings from 9am – 10:30am. All pre-kindergarten aged children are welcome. Please bring a gold coin donation. Please call the office on 9244 5422 for more information or to leave a message if you would like to attend.
